We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef for a five-star hotel in the heart of Prague
Main Duties
Administration
• Ensures that culinary activities are aligned with corporate strategy
• Oversees the preparation and update of operations manuals
• Conducts regular communications meetings
• Represents the Food Culinary function on the hotel’s Executive Committee
Customer Service
• Ensures that all employees provide exceptional guest service at all times
• Coach and mentor employees
• Handles all guest and internal customer enquiries and complaints
• Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions
Financial
• Works with F&B and HR to ensure profit centres operate efficiently
• Assists in the preparation of the annual business plan
• Assists with inventory management and ongoing maintenance of hotel operating equipment
• Assists with the input of product specifications and recipes
Operational
• Ensures that all brand standards have been implemented
• Monitors all operations, especially during peak business periods
• Ensures that all Touches of Hotel and the Food and Beverage Top 20 are implemented
• Provides feedback from the Consumer Audit and ensures relevant changes are implemented
Personnel
• Oversees the recruitment process
• Maintains employee appearance standards
• Develops and maintains training procedures
• Encourages employees to be creative and innovative
