We are searching for an experienced international Sous Chef for a 5-star hotel in the heart of Prague
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Head Chef to plan and present the day’s dishes
Ensure that kitchen staff prepare dishes to the Head Chef’s specifications
Manage staff and monitor the kitchen area to ensure a smooth running environment
Train and mentor new staff
Create and manage the work schedule
Take responsibility for inventory, product and supply rotation, and menu tasting
Ensure that safety precautions and sanitary provisions are taken to ensure a safe and clean working environment
Requirements
Existing experience of having worked in a Sous Chef position
Experience of working in an international kitchen
Fluent English is required, no other languages are necessary
A track record of operating successfully in a fine dining environment
