When you use Indago services, you provide us with a variety of information, including your personal data. These Personal Data Protection Statement will primarily introduce you to the services we provide, which personal data we process, and how we use and protect such data in accordance with the Czech data protection legislation and, as per 25 May 2018, with the General Data Protection Regulation, Regulation(EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016)

Who we are
Indago Recruitment s.r.o. ID No.: 05438632, is the controller of the personal data.
Indago services are in some way related to job-searching, recruitment, and personal development.
Indago hereby informs you, in accordance with Article 12 of the GDPR, about the processing of your personal data and your rights.
How we will use personal data and for what purposes will we use the information?
We will only collect personal data which you will provide us directly (via email or indagorecruit.com) or which are publicly available. This is always done based on your free and informed consent (consents) or for other legal purposes.
We only use personal data for the purpose for which they were given to us and we also transparently inform users of their purpose.
If you do not provide Indago with consent to the processing of personal data above the scope of the given purpose (i.e. participation in a selection procedure), then your data are deleted after the end of the selection procedure (or at most after six months).
We are not authorised to transfer the applicants’ personal data to other employers unless the applicants are transparently informed of this fact.
We will use information for declared and specified purposes, primarily for recruitment
If you choose to send us your CV or to subscribe to news, events and alerts, we will use the information you provide us to send you the content requested, to communicate with you (including, where you agree, to send you related information that might be of your interest)and to improve our marketing and communication strategy.
If you choose to submit an inquiry, we will use the information you provide us to follow up on
How we will process your information?
The vast majority of our processing of personal data occurs in the recruitment process. Providing certain data is mandatory – specifically, data used for basic identification of a person (name, surname, email, and phone number (optional), while other data are provided by applicants in their CVs and profiles without us requiring them. It is not possible to provide.
A complete list of all personal data that we process since there is no single template for CVs and hence each job applicant can provide completely different data.
On a general level, we usually process the following data: name and surname, title, date of birth, photo, email, phone number, job field, practice, education, citizenship, language skills, and completed courses/training seminars/certificates awarded, know-how and skills, and personal interests. Data provided in excess of the applicable laws processed within the framework of the consent given by the data subject (photo processing, use of personal data for recruitment, etc.)
We never request personal data which are not needed for the specific goal of the applicant (e.g., personal ID no., ID card no., copies of documents, etc.).
We and our service providers have various security measures in place to protect the information we get from you. However, the Internet is not 100% secure, and therefore we cannot promise that the transmission of data over the Internet will always be secure. We, therefore, encourage you to use caution when using the Internet. Indago has in place internal policy documents related to data privacy.
Currently Indago does not use any other processors authorised to process personal data.
For how long we will keep your information?
The personal data you provide us is kept for a period of defined in the informed consent.
If you apply for a specific vacancy and do not provide Indago with a consent, your data are deleted after the end of the selection procedure (or at most after six months).
However, information related to some inquiries and laws(such as those related to compliance may be kept for a longer retention period subject to applicable law.
Your Data Protection Rights
- You may, at any time, request us to:
- Review the information we hold about you
- Correct this information if it is factually wrong
- Erase your personal data or restrict the processing concerning of personal data concerning to you
- Receive the personal data which you have provided us via the forms, in a structured commonly used and machine-readable format
We will deal with your request with special care to ensure your rights can be exercised effectively. We may ask you for proof of identity to ensure that we are not sharing your personal data with anyone else but yourself!
You must be aware that, in particular cases (for instance, due to legal requirements) we may
not be able to make your request effective right away.
In any case, within one month from your request, we will inform you on the actions taken.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory data protection authority.
How you can withdraw your consent?
You can always withdraw your consent and opt-out from receiving further communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in each email.
However, you must understand that withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal nor further processing of the same data under other legal basis such as contract or compliance with a legal obligation to which Indago is subject.
Changes to the Candidates Personal Data Protection Statement
We may update the Data Protection Statement from time to time. You can see the date on which the last change was made below in this statement. We advise you to review our data protection statement on a regular basis so that you are aware of any changes.
